Amalia Vrana

Sea-wear from Greece.

Made from the sea, designed for the sea

Week's TOP 3

All our products are made in Greece, and everyone knows how much Greeks love summer. We work hard to understand the context and improve our supply chain by collaborating with  artisanal Greek producers, identifying re-claimed/cycled materials for fabrics and buttons, using organic packaging, and donating a section of profits to sea-related environmental NGOs. We try to keep production local, small and hand made, and were fortunate enough to recently have the ELLE Young Talents Awards for “Fashion Innovation”, because of this focus

Regenerated fabrics from sea waste

For our pieces we use recycled fabrics, made of ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world. The end result is an eco-friendly upcycled piece, which can also be recycled unlimited times!

When you choose Amalia Vrana swimwear styles you are are helping to clean oceans, clear landfills and re-use nylon waste. Your choice results in reduced carbon emissions and helps save the earth’s precious resources.

The collection presents a series of swimsuits and bikinis in unique prints inspired by shapes and colours of
reflecting water and light. One-colour high quality fabrics in shades of blue, brown
and beige; these are conceptually the “canvas” on
which the reflection is created.
